LAMDA AWARDS

Tonight we went to the awards presentation for the children and adults that took the LAMDA examination in Dramatic Arts.

I mentioned, back in April that both girls would be taking this exam. Well.......

I am happy to announce they both passed the exam. Yeah! Really they had 3 different exams. The first one was a group exam and the piece they used was from the play they had just finished... "Charlotte's Web" and the group passed the exam with honors.

Then Timber and Linda did a duo exam and an individual piece. Timber passed and was just 3 points short of honors. Which is really good, since she is my REALLY shy child. Linda passed and earned...... Distinction! Talk about bursting with pride!

I am thrilled for the girls. This whole exam thing was really stepping out of their comfort zone and they did awesome.
